When is 100 kVA the right choice?

100 kVA is the most common entry point for medium-scale manufacturing. A typical CNC machining centre with 3–4 axes draws 30–60 kVA at peak load; running two machines plus auxiliary lighting and HVAC puts the connected load squarely in the 80–100 kVA range. This rating is also the standard choice for hospital operation theatres, server rooms with 60–80 servers, and diagnostic imaging suites where a single voltage dip could abort a procedure or corrupt a scan. If your existing main incomer is a 100A TPN breaker on a 415V supply, this is almost certainly the correct stabilizer size — share your load list and we will confirm.
