What Each System Actually Does
A quick spec sheet doesn't tell you why a system is built the way it is. Here's the engineering reasoning behind each product line.
Servo Stabilizer— Precision Voltage Regulation
Voltaire servo voltage stabilizers hold output within ±1% regardless of how far input swings — the tolerance CNC/VMC machines, elevators, hospital equipment, and automation lines actually need to run without tripping. Indian grid voltage can swing 20–30% above or below nominal during peak load, causing motor slip, reduced cooling in fans and compressors, and unplanned line stops. Our units are built with copper-wound, heavy-duty transformers and microprocessor or DSP-based control, in air-cooled and oil-cooled configurations sized for continuous industrial duty — sized against your actual load profile, not a nameplate estimate.
APFC Panels— Power Factor Correction
Voltaire APFC panels correct lagging power factor to 0.98+ using microcontroller-based relay switching, industrial-grade capacitor banks, and detuned reactors (7%/14%) tuned for harmonic-rich industrial environments, in ratings from 20 to 1500 kVAr. A poor power factor draws reactive current that inflates your transformer loading and triggers utility PF penalty charges on the monthly bill — correcting it cuts those penalties, reduces line losses, and frees up transformer capacity for real load growth. Automatic step switching tracks load changes in real time, so the correction holds as your plant's demand shifts through the day.
Distribution Transformers— Reliable Step-Down Power
Voltaire oil-cooled distribution transformers step down 11kV/22kV/33kV utility supply for industrial, utility, and commercial installations up to 2000 kVA, built to BIS specification with low no-load and full-load losses. Lower losses mean two things in practice: a lower monthly energy bill for the life of the transformer, and less internal heat — which reduces insulation stress and extends service life well beyond a standard-loss unit. CRGO cores run cooler under continuous duty, cutting thermal cycling and the risk of insulation breakdown, while the lower loss current reduces thermal stress on the switchgear, cables, and busbars downstream.
Isolation Transformers— Electrical Isolation & Protection
Voltaire isolation transformers use a 1:1 turns ratio to break the direct electrical path between supply and load — providing galvanic isolation, common-mode noise suppression, and harmonic reduction for CNC/VMC machines, medical systems, IT racks, and laboratory instruments. Because the load is no longer referenced directly to the supply neutral, isolation transformers also reduce shock hazard risk and protect connected electronics against surges and transients riding in on the incoming line. We build these to medical-grade specification where the application calls for it, with the same copper-wound, industrial-duty construction as our stabilizers.
LT Panels— Power Distribution & Control
Voltaire LT panels — PCC, MCC, AMF, and DG synchronization panels — are built to your exact single-line diagram with Schneider, L&T, ABB, or Siemens switchgear, rated up to 5000A in enclosures from IP42 to IP65. A Power Control Centre panel handles incoming supply distribution and protection; a Motor Control Centre panel houses the starters and protection for your connected motor load; an AMF panel switches automatically to DG supply on mains failure and back again without manual intervention. Every panel ships with full documentation and factory test reports, and post-commissioning support from the same team that built it.
